takes pride in our imprinting quality and ability to
vividly produce your design on any of our
styles/types of printed tapes we carry. To
accomplish this we pay particular attention to the
quality of artwork we receive. The following
specifications detail our requirements in providing
you exceptional imprinting of your logo.
Artwork not meeting these standards may incur
additional costs and time. For art instructions and
information on submitting art (see below)

TAPE TEMPLATES
If you are going to
submit your art provided below are links to our
templates. With each width 2" & 3" we have 3
different machines allowing us to be able to offer 3
different print lengths 6", 8" and 11". There will
always be an 1/8" margin on the top and bottom and
there will be a 1/2" break in between repeats.

ACCEPTED APPLICATIONS
Adobe Illustrator: Windows version CS5 or earlier •
export file as eps/ convert text to outlines / NO embedded tiffs, jpegs,
or gifs. All artwork must be vector artwork.
Corel Draw: Windows version 11.0 or earlier • export file as eps.
metafile, or illustator / export text as curves
Macromedia Freehand: Windows version 11.0 or earlier • you can
save a mac version as long as it is saved as a IBM/PC type. Make sure
all fonts are converted to paths/outlines
PDF:
Make sure all fonts are converted to paths/outlines
Photoshop: Windows version 7.0 or earlier •1/color designs can be
saved as tiffs in a high resolution 300 dpi or higher.
Microsoft Word: Windows version 2003 • recommended for type only
no design work.
File storage: PC/IBM formatted 3.5 floppy diskettes, Zip Disk
250mb or less, CD and DVD Rom

Multiple Color Designs
For best results, artwork must be
pre-approved by PrintedShippingTape.com for printability. Digital art
must be vector art. Mechanical art must be provided as a black and white
composite, with colors indicated
When printing multi colors on tape the colors can shift
left, right, up, down up to an 1/8". This does not always happen. It can happen
and you must be aware. This is not exclusive to us this is a standard in the
industry and will happen with any printer of this type of product. We strive
very hard to monitor our production runs to minimize this issue. |
Halftones (Photos or Photographic Images)
For best results, artwork consisting
of halftones must be pre-approved; depending on quantity ordered. An
example of printing scales would be: Designs must be printed at 30 lines
per inch at a 45 degree angle, with tint percentages not lower than 20%
nor greater than 60%.

Art / Set Up Charges
You will be advised before order is placed what the estimated cost will
be for printing plates, and artwork charges. The more complete the
information is from you, the easier it is to create artwork and plates,
and deliver your product quickly. We have complete design services
available, and can help you create your custom printed bag, tape, or
carton to your complete satisfaction.

Art Department
We have an art dept. capable of just about anything. If you cannot
provide your art in the correct format we can do it. We can work from
anything you can provide from chicken scratches on a napkin to email us
an e-file. We charge $50.00 per hour with a min $25 fee. If you cannot
provide your art in the correct format you can email us at
